Fix: Full screen misbehavior when disable separated space for each screen. If I enter fullscreen using view>fullscreen or using the fullscreen symbol in the top-right of a video, I have no issues. (only with x11) instead of -fs, and also have a look at the -vm option in the man page. Apparently latest version (1.0pre5) has some issues with certain wm's - don't know what you guys are using but it may be important. CMD+F fullscreen leads to a fullscreen frozen frame of the video and eventually either a force quit or a total crash of MplayerX. Just had a peek on the mplayer mailing list. In fact, I only have issues if I enter fullscreen using Command+F (which is still a big bummer as CMD+F is an intense automatic muscle memory thing for me). Updating seems to be at least a partial fix. Now I no longer experience the White Screen of Death. I originally downloaded via the App Store and didn't realize MplayerX has left the Mac App Store.Īfter updating via /downland.html our issue evolved. Putting the report together I relized I was not on the current version 1.0.22.1 (1785). I decided to submit an issue report on MplayerX's Google Code page. I just installed the new Yosemite update and when I open a file in MPlayerX in full screen the entire screen goes white, but the sound is still being heard. Another user and I were discussing this on another post, and I think my experience may be helpful here. ![]()
